Villa Patrizia is a beautifully restored stone villa divided into two apartments, tucked away in a secluded spot at Salceto Lame, on a tarmac road about 7km from the village of Pietralunga, which has supermarkets, bars, a pharmacy and good restaurants.
The medieval walled town of Gubbio is a 30-minute drive, with many shops, bars and restaurants. A trip in the cable car will give beautiful views of the area.
Perugia, the Umbrian capital, is 40mins drive, with a splendid underground historical centre. You can find a weekly market here and the world famous "Umbria Jazz" festival takes place every summer.
Lake Trasimeno is a 45-minute drive, with beaches, a promenade, and boat trips to islands on the lake.
This Villa has only been available for rent for two seasons, and is in immaculate condition. The English-speaking owners live in a house about 100metres away, and are always available to help.
There are two apartments, which share the 10m x 5m pool and a large garden. The owner also cultivates a large vegetable plot at the end of the garden and guests are encouraged to help themselves to the produce!
There is a large garden area, part lawn, and part gravel with seating area, furniture and external lighting for evening dining. There are beautiful trees and flowers in the garden, which is lovingly tended by the owner.
Also available is a new swimming pool (10mx5m) with sun loungers, and a solar heated pool shower!
