La Torriola is a small complex of five self-catering apartments set on a hillside with views across the valley to the medieval Todi.
The apartments have been delightfully restored and redecorated, featuring unique woodcarvings and furniture made-to-measure by a local craftsman-artist. The unique and beautiful city of Todi is only 5km away, and many guests spend their time wandering its cobbled streets and looking at the many churches, shops and museums.
It is attached to an eight-hectare farm that produces its own wine and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, using natural methods.
There is a 12m by 6m swimming pool, edged with hand made tiles and surrounded by lawns, it is floodlit at night, with adjacent gazebo and solarium, and many games and activities are available.The pool is open from 1st May to 30th September. There is bowls, table tennis and table soccer on site, and mountain bikes for hire (guides available for groups of six or more). The gardens total 3000 sq metres.
In addition there are two towers for bird watching, and crossbow archery under the supervision of our staff.
The owners are happy to organise olive oil sampling courses, helping you to recognize and appreciate the aromas and aftertastes, merits and defects of olive oil in a convivial atmosphere. (Groups of eight or more)
There are many activities available in the area, including tennis, riding, golf, paragliding, sailing and rafting, but above all, the beautiful city of Todi is only 5km away!
The owners can supply their own red and white wines, honey, jams and small quantities of seasonal fruit and vegetables.
