La Boccia
Welcome to Country Italy’s apartment complex at La Boccia.
This unique rural complex comes complete with 48 hectares of land, some open and some forested, it’s own swimming pool, and many facilities .
Set in its own small valley, complete with a mountain stream, there are 7 delightful
self-contained apartments in two restored farmhouses, available all the year round.
Each apartment has been restored using typical Umbrian materials, with tiled floors, stuccoed walls and wood beamed ceilings. They all have fitted kitchen areas, locally made hard wood furniture and main bedrooms equipped with traditional wrought iron beds.
But to keep touch with the modern world, all of the apartments also have a television and a high-speed internet connection.
La Boccia is superbly positioned. Although secluded and private, it is only 5km from the historic and beautiful town of Citta di Castello, and the same distance from the main north-south motorway, the E45. There are a whole series of events throughout the summer, culminating in the world famous “Mostra Di Cavalli” horse show in early September. Many of the surrounding villages have their own festivals throughout the year. Excursions can be arranged to many events.
